ALTA BOARD OF GOVERNORS FINANCE COMMITTEE CHAIR:
As a professional of the title insurance business for over 30 years, Jack Rattikin III is known as a valuable leader in the industry. Currently, Jack is president and chief executive officer of Rattikin Title Company of Fort Worth, Texas. He has held the position of CEO since January 2004 leading all functions of the company. He is a member of the American Land Title Association Board of Governors and chairman of the Finance Committee. He previously served as president and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Land Title Association.

Bob Clements, JD is Co-founder, Strategic Marketing Director, and General Counsel for Benchmark Business Group, which provides business coaching, consulting, and business brokerage services. Since 1999, BBG has coached businesses in most of the 50 States and several foreign countries, in addition to aiding business owners in preparing their business for sale, and assisting buyers in successfully transitioning management and operation of their recently acquired business. It is the most unique and successful business brokerage in Iowa.
Bob earned his Juris Doctorate in 1973 from Creighton University School of Law and was a practicing attorney for more than thirty years. He has worked primarily in the areas of business law, commercial transactions, banking, business workouts, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and in 2002 was certified as a Senior E-Myth Consultant.
IOWA SECRETARY OF STATE:
Paul D. Pate of Cedar Rapids was elected to serve as the thirty-second Iowa Secretary of State. A recognized business leader by the Small Business Administration, Pate is the owner of a paving construction firm and was recognized as a Patriotic Employer by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Pate also served two terms as Mayor of Cedar Rapids from 2002 –2006. While Mayor, Pate was elected President of the non-partisan Iowa League of Cities representing over 870 municipalities. He previously served with Governor Branstad as Iowa Secretary of State from 1995-1999. Paul was elected twice to the Iowa State Senate representing NE Cedar Rapids, Marion and parts of Linn, Buchanan and Delaware Counties from 1989-1995.

Dave Schwensen is a coach, trainer, keynote speaker and author. Schwensen is a nationally recognized comedy coach and has designed and instructed university courses in communications and presentation skills. He has been featured on PBS Television and Radio, U.S. News & World Report, Chicago Tribune, Ohio Magazine, InsideBiz.com Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter and many others.
Schwensen is the author of "How To Be A Working Comic: An Insider’s Guide To A Career In Stand-Up Comedy", "Comedy FAQs And Answers: How The Stand-Up Biz Really Works" and "Comedy Workshop: Creating & Writing Comedy Material for Comedians & Humorous Speakers". His credits include Talent Coordinator for the television show "A&E’s An Evening At The Improv", The Hollywood and New York City Improv Comedy Clubs, and Assistant to Improv founder Budd Friedman.

15TH ANNUAL PRESIDENT’S FUN RUN & WALK:
Everyone is invited to participate in the 15th Annual President’s Fun Run & Walk on Tuesday at 7 a.m. Distance 5K (3.1) Miles; start and finish at the hotel. Registration Fee: $20. Proceeds benefit the Puppy Jake Foundation that provides service dogs to perform tasks and provide companionship for American veterans with disabilities, at no cost to the veterans or their families.
